Responsibilities: • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients • Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs • Resolve client inquiries and complaints • Expand business reach through networking techniques • Comply with insurance standards and regulations • Track and identify areas of improvement Qualifications: • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory • Strong negotiation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritize and multitask Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 yearly
