We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable Insurance Sales and Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with personal lines clients. You will grow the book of business and maximize profitable relationships. We are an independent insurance brokerage — meaning we don’t work for just one company but we shop multiple carriers to find policies that fit our client's needs and budget rather than a single provider’s products. Responsibilities
Identify new personal insurance opportunities
Develop relationships with clients and prospective clients
Respond to inquiries from clients and prospective clients
Provide accurate quotes and supplemental information
Monitor and report on key metrics regarding sales targets
Collaborate with colleagues and provide training when necessary
Participate in regular continuing education classes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and information
Review and verify client audits
Qualifications
Active insurance license
Previous experience as a personal or commercial lines producer or in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven track record of B2B sales experience
Skilled in negotiation and communication
Highly organized with strong time management skills
