The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Responsibilities: • Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders • Set meetings with new and potential clients to listen to their needs, taking into account their financial statuses and stage-of-life priorities, and present insurance plan options tailored to their individual circumstances • Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction • Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual profiles • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships by providing personalized life insurance solutions. • **Sales & Prospecting: **Generate leads, seek new clients, and maintain a consistent pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets. • Product Expertise: Stay updated on life insurance products and features to provide the best advice to clients. • Client Education: Help clients make informed decisions about life insurance and financial planning. • Leadership: Mentor new agents and guide them through training for long-term success (for those interested in management roles). • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all sales are compliant with state regulations and maintain accurate records. Qualifications: • Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations • Proficiency with accounting or sales-related software is helpful • Job seekers must have an insurance license • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required • Valid state insurance license is required. • Proven track record of success in insurance sales. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Leadership skills with a desire for team growth and mentorship. • You must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation: $70,000+ at plan commission
