Responsibilities: • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio Qualifications: • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office Compensation: $60,000-$70,000
