We’re looking for a motivated, community-driven independent Insurance Agent to join our team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference locally, while helping clients secure the right coverage for their needs. As an Insurance Agent, you'll not only help people protect what matters but also be a key player in community outreach and engagement. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations including marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives • Leverage social media and local media to highlight community initiatives and client stories • Guide clients in selecting appropriate coverage that best meets their needs • Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and community outreach • Build and manage a diverse client base by providing personalized insurance solutions • Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community • Must be a good communicator and be able to explain solutions to the customer • High School diploma a must: college degree a bonus or related work experience • Ability to review and solve situational tasks • Willingness to complete tasks without having to be micro-managed • Ability to make decisions at the moment • Willingness to learn and grow as the business changes Qualifications: • Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain) • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and drive • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage • Insurance and sales experience a plus Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
