We’re looking for a motivated, community-driven independent Insurance Agent to join our team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference locally, while helping clients secure the right coverage for their needs. As an Insurance Agent, you'll not only help people protect what matters but also be a key player in community outreach and engagement. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage a book of business by offering tailored insurance solutions • Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and community outreach • Build relationships with local organizations (schools, farm organizations, chambers of commerce) to identify partnership opportunities • Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements • Leverage social media and local media to highlight community initiatives and client stories • Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage • Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and drive • Passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Insurance and sales experience a plus Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
