SUMMARY:

We are seeking a small group employee benefits professional for a client service position. You will be working for a leading general agent and assisting benefits brokers and retail account managers by providing benefits options for their small group clients and prospects.

LOCATION: The role is in Irvine, California

BENEFITS & PERKS:

• $65,000-$75,000 annual base salary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides brokers with timely, solution-oriented responses to their new business quotes and service needs
• Using your knowledge of medical and ancillary carrier guidelines, you will be making suggestions on options to satisfy clients needs and goals for their employees
• Assists in evaluating target brokers & deploying a plan for successful engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Life and Health License
• Two years of benefits experience with a retail brokerage is preferred
• HealthConnect or experience with similar benefits database software
• Knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines
