    Job Description

    SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a group employee benefits sales representative for a successful and growing benefits firm.

    LOCATION: The job is in Irvine, California

    COMPENSATION & PERKS:

    • Base salary: $60,000 + Commission
    • Full benefits package

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Inside sales only, this person will only focus on sales and not service
    • This person will handle some lead generation from social media, marketing campaigns, and referrals
    • This person will use Salesforce and EaseCentral
    • Serve as sales and marketing authority on Employee Benefits Team and represent brokerage to customers, prospects and the business community
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key networks to help deepen partnerships and monitor sales progress against your sales plan
    • Reach or exceed annual sales goals
    • Implement sales strategies, concepts and leverage existing programs
    • Utilize Salesforce to track progress

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • CA Life and Health License
    • Experience in Insurance Sales Industry
    • Strong communication skills
    • Technical experience: Must be proficient in all of Microsoft Office Suite and Benefits Administration Systems
    • Knowledge of Benefits Administration Systems within Industry
    • Knowledge of Employee Benefit Industry
    • Excellent planning skills and the ability to implement successful sales strategies
    • Goal-oriented and ambitious, with capacity and drive to reach and exceed quotas
    • Strong presentation skills, listening skills, and closing skills
    • Proven customer service and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
    • Organized, with effective time management skills
    • Motivation and achievement-focused
    • Sales Aptitude a must
