Position Overview We're seeking a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help clients find insurance solutions that fit their needs while building lasting relationships and contributing to the agency's growth. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement within a supportive and high-energy team environment.
Responsibilities
Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
Work with the agent to establish and meet sales and growth goals
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients
Seek out and participate in networking events and opportunities
Monitor and report on key metrics to ensure sales goals are met
Participate in continuing education and stay up to date with the latest industry trends
Review and verify client audits and maintain A/R and billing
Qualifications
Sales experience required
Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and results driven
Ability to explain products to customers and cross-sell
Property and Casualty license (preferred)
Life and Health license (preferred)
