In this position, you’ll collect and enter accurate information for new, existing, and prospective clients that serves as the foundation for decisions made by your insurance underwriter counterparts. Responsibilities: • Correspond with applicants via phone, email and in person to collect and analyze insurance information that facilitates the risk assessment process and provides underwriting support • Track, manage, and prioritize insurance policy applications and other services by acting as the primary communicator between underwriters and clients • Document and communicate policy approvals or rejections to the underwriting team, insurance agents, supervisors, and clients in a timely manner • Verify that all identification, financial, and policy records remain accurate and complete within underwriting software programs to facilitate relevant policy recommendations to existing and prospective and existing • Create analytics-based reports that can be used to make coverage determinations and set policy guidelines • Review both new and renewal policies for accuracy • Review changes to client policies for accuracy Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, finance, or similar is necessary • Designation as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred but not required • Stellar communications and interpersonal skills • Working as an administrative assistant or similar, or a role in the insurance industry is a plus • Must be detail-oriented to collect and maintain accurate client records Compensation: $35,000 yearly
