We are seeking an Insurance Verification / Referral Coordinator to join our team! You will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

• Answering / making phone calls to patients and insurers
• Schedule qualified appointments
• Verify insurance information for new patients, existing patients, and surgery procedures
• Communicating with insurers to confirm coverage on procedures
• Educate patients on Insurance benefits, if needed
• Call to obtain pre-authorization for recommended services and procedures
• Update insurance information for patients as needed
• Resolve patient insurance inquiries
• Maintain record of received referrals using Leading Reach platform and faxed referrals.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
• Filing records and other paperwork within an organized system for easy access when required
• Ability to assist with Front Desk as needed
• Other Duties

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the medical field, insurance verification, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
