Insurance Verifier / Registration Clerk at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Mansfield

The Insurance Verifier / Registration Clerk serves as a key point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and staff. This position is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, registering patients, maintaining accurate patient records, and collecting patient payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum two years' previous insurance verification experience required

• Previous healthcare registration preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
