    About The Role

    We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Intake Clinician to join our team. This role is essential to our mission, completing comprehensive clinical assessments and linking clients with appropriate services. As an Intake Clinician with Carolina Outreach, you will lead assessments, and collaborate closely clients, families and/or their natural supports to assess strengths/needs, assist families with planning, developing, implementing, and assessing treatment and ancillary needs.

    Essential Duties:

    • Conduct initial intake assessments with families and/or community agencies requesting services
    • Recommend the types of treatment modalities and refer to the appropriate programs
    • Develop/evaluate the service plan to ensure that services are being delivered and are appropriate to the needs of the child and family.
    • Assist in client enrollment and authorization for services.
    • Engages and maintains community partnerships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and update status of referrals.

    Compensation

    This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.

    • Compensation: $54,373 - $73,494

    Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

    Qualificiations

    • Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or other human services field

    • Licensure: Must hold a current mental health license in North Carolina or associate license (e.g., LCSW/A, LCMHC/A).
