    Nue Beginnings Residence Home Inc provides support services for youth and their families under the supervision of the Georgia Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS). We are seeking a highly organized Intake Coordinator to join lead our newly centralized referral unit. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant referral documentation and coordination across departments.

    Intake Coordinator Full-Time Contract Location: 44 Darbys Crossing Drive Suite 102 Hiram, GA 30141 Schedule: 9am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday Position Type: In Person Full Time Position.

    Scope of Role

    This role is responsible for managing calls, coordinating referrals, and ensuring timely and accurate case presentation and assignment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong judgment, communication, and leadership skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Serve as the first point of contact for referral and intake calls

    Screen and respond to inquiries about services needs

    Identify and confirm service needs of DFCs county offices; present cases to the team

    Follow up on open referrals

    Create and manage cases, update service authorizations, and ensure data accuracy

    Assign cases to team ensuring completeness, compliance, and timely documentation

    Maintain internal and external record compliance and track case data

    Route inquiries to the appropriate administrative team members

    Collect and verify client demographics in the case management system

    Meet individual and departmental performance goals

    Support general administrative tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)

    Experience with EMR or Ecase Notes (required)

    Entry-level clinical knowledge and case management experience

    Strong customer service and communication skills

    Proficient computer skills with high accuracy

    Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and solve problems

    Flexible and decisive in a fast-paced environment

    Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
