Cor-Vanama Solutions/Consumer Directions Inc. provides the payroll and administrative support to individuals who are part of various Minnesota Department of Human Services programs with the goal of the participant remaining in their home with the paid assistance of their family members and friends. As the Intake and Orientation Specialist, you serve as the first point of contact, playing a key role in shaping the initial impression and overall experience for the families we support. This is a full-time, in office, position and a qualified candidate must have passion to help people, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and remain positive while navigating new scenarios to deliver exceptional customer service daily.
Core Responsibilities:
The position will be assigned, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Collaborate with Case Managers, Support Planners, Consultation Services Providers, Vendors, Support Staff, Managing Parties, and participants within all 87 Minnesota counties to disperse information, provide training, and answer questions within the scope of our role as a Financial Management Service (FMS)
- Manage communication for all intakes and referrals through phone calls and email
- Enter data and create necessary forms to establish the participant as an employer and support workers as their employees
- Provide orientation to families and participants regarding CDI terms, rules, and standards prior to service delivery
- Deliver a high level of confident, diverse customer service, in an upbeat manner, and with a smile

Physical Demands:
- This position may be completed sitting or standing.
- This position may infrequently require lifting up to 20 lbs.
Travel:
- This position may require local travel to our 2nd office location or training venue.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma ****
- Preferred : Some data entry
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Upon hire, all candidates must pass a state-run background check and complete fingerprinting.
- Upon hire, candidates will be subject to a driving record check and must possess a valid driver's license.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $19-$21/hour; 40 hours a week
