Intake Specialist Summary
The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for job seekers seeking employment opportunities through the Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO). This position is responsible for creating a positive candidate experience by guiding individuals through the intake, registration, referral, and employment preparation process. The Intake Specialist works closely with Account Managers and other staff to ensure candidates receive timely support and are successfully connected to airport career opportunities.

Candidate Intake & Support
Welcome and assist new and returning candidates, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
Conduct intake assessments and assist candidates with registration, required documentation, and eligibility verification.
Guide candidates through online registration and CAO application processes, providing technical assistance as needed.
Educate candidates on CAO services, airport career opportunities, and next steps in the hiring process.
Follow up with candidates regarding referrals, interviews, and employment outcomes.
Case Management & Data Administration
Maintain accurate candidate records and case files in Salesforce and other databases.
Track candidate progress, referrals, and placements while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on candidate activity and program outcomes.
Serve as a resource for Salesforce and data reporting inquiries as assigned.
Outreach & Administrative Support
Represent CAO at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities.
Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to support hiring initiatives and employer needs.
Perform administrative duties including filing, photocopying, document management, and other office support as needed.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and special projects.
Qualifications
Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to four years of experience in workforce development, customer service, career services, recruiting, or a related field.
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/database systems preferred.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
