    Job Description

    Job Title - Staff Accountant Location - Los Angeles, CA Hybrid | Full Time | Direct Hire Placement Salary: $80k - $85k Integr8staff seeks a progressive Staff Accountant to lead initiatives in multi-platform media and production billing, advance billing and actuals billing for our client, a well-established and growing multicultural marketing and advertising firm in Los Angeles, CA. This is a phenomenal opportunity with the potential for professional growth and development. Job Function: Prepare production and media billing ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of client billing while adhering to the clients' billing instructions and standard agency procedures. Provide the necessary backup and internal forms as need for the billing package. Check monthly billing draft for accuracy and obtain the required review and approvals from account management and/or production. Schedule and lead internal monthly billing meetings to review WIP and job status with account management, production and traffic. Initiate corrective action and work closely with account management to resolve any client billing issues. Approve estimate in the system. Bill estimates for production, media and monthly service fees/retainers. Reconcile production and media projects. Monitor and bill "actual" expenses for clients without advance billing allowances. Enforce client's contract requirements, such as client's travel policies. Prepare and reconcile client budget control reports. Update and maintain information for billings logs. Coordinate with traffic, account coordinator and account executive for billing purposes. Coordinates with Accounts Payable the entry of invoices to ensure accuracy. Monitor all vendor bills through job closing. Prepare and issue production Purchase Orders as needed. Open and distribute new jobs in Project Manager's absence. Maintain an electronic and hard copy file system for invoices and backup in an organized manner. Required Skills/Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance or equivalent experience 3+ years of Production Accounting in marketing/ advertising experience preferred Entertainment Industry experience and knowledge of studio environment Experience with multi-platform billing is preferred; Content Production, Motion, Interactive/Digital, Emerging Media, Print, Broadcast. Strong accounting / audit knowledge. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects. Advanced MS Excel/Access knowledge. Experience with Advantage or similar accounting system. Knowledge of SAG/AFTRA policies and guidelines, a plus. Updated resume is required for consideration.
