    JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the installation and maintenance of heavy-duty industrial conveyor belts as well as fabricating rubber products.

    PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Primary accountabilities of this position are to perform belting-related work in our fabrication shop and on customer sites, working days and afternoons shifts varying in length of duration and performed in all types of weather and customer site environmental conditions. Work is performed using hand and powered tools, equipment of various types, forklifts and cranes, solvents, and rubber cements. In-State and out-of-State overnight work/travel and weekend work is required.

    SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist with facility and grounds upkeep, assist the Head of Buildings & Grounds Maintenance, clean vehicles, help organize belting inventory, and all other duties as assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the ability to lift, handle and carry up to 75 pounds unassisted, ambulate on even, uneven, inclined, slippery and/or cluttered surfaces, climb stairs, work while reaching up, down, in and out, work while on knees, squat, push/pull, grasp, hold and operate manual and powered tools, operate forklifts and cranes, drive company vehicles, stand for up to 2 hours continuously on concrete floors, climb and work off ladders, work at various heights requiring fall protection and/or fall arrest gear, be exposed to noise and dust, work both inside and outside in all but the most extreme types of weather, and work up to a maximum 16 hour shift including travel time.
