Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a group of caring individuals whose goal is to provide children and their families with the behavioral therapy services they need to succeed. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves children across the state of Kansas with a focus on rural and low-income areas.

IBT is currently seeking a Kitchen Cook for The K.I.D.S. Place, IBT’s early learning and child care center in McLouth, Kansas. The K.I.D.S. Place provides a nurturing environment which supports children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs, offering care to children ages 2-weeks up to 14 years.

Responsibilities

• Understands quality food preparation and service
• Is familiar with preparing appropriate quantities of food
• Practices sanitary methods of food handling and storage
• Is sensitive to individual and cultural food tastes of children
• Is willing to work with the program director in planning learning experiences for children relative to nutrition
• Must have strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must possess a valid ID and have reliable transportation
• Must pass criminal background checks as required by state regulation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Preferred: 1+ year(s) experience working in a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour
