    Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Integrated Experiences Intern to be based in Hunt Valley, MD.

As an Integrated Experiences (IX) Intern, you will support AECOM’s multidisciplinary team of designers, technologists, and consultants who deliver technology, design, and advisory services across the built environment. IX works across smart buildings, audiovisual systems, IoT ecosystems, digital experience platforms, and Building Operating Systems (BOS). You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and project managers while gaining hands‑on experience with AV, IoT, BOS, broadcast environments, and experiential spaces.

Our team integrates AV, IoT, BOS, lighting controls, and emerging technologies into connected, intuitive, future‑ready environments—working closely with other TSG specialties including Security, ICT, and Networks.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Conduct research on emerging A/V, smart building, IoT, and experiential technologies.
    • Collaborate on programming, needs assessments, and strategic planning.
