Cooper-Steinmetz Enterprises, LLC is a fast-growing freight brokerage specializing in produce and perishable goods transportation. We pride ourselves on efficiency, customer service, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Integrated Logistics & Corporate Accounts Coordinator to join our Coachella Valley Office team.
Position Summary
This role combines logistics coordination with corporate account business development. The ideal candidate will manage daily freight operations, carrier relations, and customer service while actively prospecting and onboarding new corporate accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
- Manage full truckload and LTL freight from pickup to delivery.
- Schedule, track, and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with carriers and customers regarding shipment status and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of all loads in the company’s TMS (Transportation Management System).
- Gather, organize, and prepare all green file load folders for billing.
- Ensure all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and invoices are submitted to accounting within 48 hours of delivery.
- Follow up with carriers to obtain missing documentation before billing deadlines.
Corporate Accounts Development
- Identify and research potential corporate clients using CRM tools and market research.
- Enter and maintain all lead information, research notes, and customer details in CRM.
- Conduct mock and live sales calls to prospective clients.
- Present transportation solutions tailored to client needs.
- Earn 50% commission on new corporate accounts brought in for the first 6 months of account life (no residual commissions thereafter).
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide regular updates to customers with active loads.
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and exceptions quickly and professionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation preferred.
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
