Responsibilities: • Ensure inventory transactions are accurate and performed on time • Oversee the cycle counting process, executing counts based on proper frequency and sample sizes to ensure overall inventory accuracy • Utilize the cycle count process to identify inventory variances • Perform analysis of inventory levels and make recommendations for action plans to meet production and customer demand • Execute processes and procedures to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory information is in the inventory management system • Achieve target performance for KPIs • Execute sound warehouse practices to manage inventory i.e. cycle counts, variance resolution, material movement/transfer processes, and warehouse space utilization • Develop daily communication with plant personnel about relevant inventory stats • Provide functional leadership across departments, act as a responsible advocate for regulatory requirements and employee safety • Understands cause and effect relationships regarding variables that impact the business viability of the organization Physical Requirements • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, walk, reach, squat, push, pull, and climb stairs for extended periods of time • Must be able to work from elevated surfaces and in confined spaces for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 3-5 years of management experience; demonstrated leadership skills • 5 years of document work experience in inventory management, preferably in commodities, trading, or pet food • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or relevant software packages **** Compensation: $70,000
