As integrations ramp up, this role will be primarily onsite at portfolio company locations and then remote / at-home as workstreams stabilize.
Frequent travel is required, approximately 75%, to build relationships with team members across the platform and support onsite integration work.
Job Summary
Heritage MEP is hiring an Integration Manager to support operational integration initiatives across a growing group of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and industrial service companies.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly reliable, responsive, organized, and willing to help wherever needed. The Integration Manager will work closely with the COO, platform leadership, external vendors, and operating company teams to help improve consistency, visibility, communication, and execution across the platform.
The role will involve frequent travel to portfolio company locations to observe workflows, document processes, identify gaps, support system implementations, and help teams adopt new tools and processes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who can build strong relationships, operate independently, communicate clearly, and keep multiple projects moving in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of operational integration initiatives across portfolio companies
Support ERP, field service management, reporting, workflow, CRM, and process implementation initiatives
Travel onsite to operating companies to observe workflows, document processes, identify gaps, and assist with implementation efforts
Work alongside office managers, project managers, service teams, and leadership teams to support operational improvements
Help develop and maintain standardized workflows, documentation, SOPs, dashboards, and reporting structures
Coordinate communication, training, timelines, follow-up, and action items related to integration initiatives
Support data gathering, reporting visibility, CRM / HubSpot organization, and operational tracking efforts
Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
Assist with onboarding newly acquired operating companies into platform systems and processes
Support platform initiatives related to business development, leadership development, and operational excellence
Collaborate with platform leadership and external vendors to help ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives
Help maintain accountability, organization, and momentum across multiple ongoing projects and integrations
What We’re Looking For
Experience in operations, integration, project coordination, process improvement, systems implementation, consulting, construction operations, field service operations, or a related role
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and follow-up items
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels of an organization
High level of reliability, responsiveness, professionalism, and discretion
Comfort working onsite with local teams and remotely with platform leadership
Strong attention to detail and ability to document workflows, processes, action items, and implementation steps
Ability to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities
Comfort operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project tracking tools, CRM systems, or related business software
Willingness and ability to travel frequently, approximately 75%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP, field service management, CRM, reporting, or dashboard tools
Experience with HubSpot, ServiceTitan, BuildOps, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar systems
Experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, field service, industrial services, or multi-site operations
Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, system changes, or operational standardization
Experience working with office managers, project managers, service teams, or field-based teams
