    BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an Integration Specialist. This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.

    As an Integration Specialist at BVA Bear's IT Solutions you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing interfaces between the various enterprise applications, platforms, and data services. The role ensures seamless system interoperability and workflow automation, enabling business and IT functions to operate across modern, hybrid, and legacy platforms.

    This individual serves as a critical enabler of service innovation and agility by applying middleware architecture, API strategies, and integration tools to eliminate silos, reduce redundancy, and support business continuity. The Integration Specialist works closely with architects, ITSM teams, procurement, and service desk leads to synchronize technical ecosystems with program objectives and operational timelines.

    Duties Include:

    Lead design and implementation of middleware and integration components across platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Azure, custom portals).

    Develop API architecture and interface documentation, ensuring reusability and scalability.

    Support end-to-end data flows, orchestration layers, and event-driven automation for service workflows and asset tracking.

    Provide technical guidance for COTS, SaaS, and cloud-native system onboarding and interoperability.

    Collaborate with ITSM and ITAM leads to embed integration logic into service delivery and lifecycle operations.

    Maintain security, compliance, and data governance practices within integration workflows.

    Analyze existing technical environments and recommend rationalization or modernization paths that align with strategic goals.

    Participate in Agile ceremonies, delivering user stories, technical spikes, and documentation as part of the backlog.

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.

    Minimum 5–7 years of experience in systems integration, middleware design, or enterprise architecture.

    Proficiency in tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, or ServiceNow Integration Hub.

    Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data transformation, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML).

    Experience integrating ERP, CRM, ITSM, and asset management platforms.

    Familiarity with Agile and DevOps pipelines; JIRA/Confluence preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Public sector or infrastructure experience preferred.
