Job Description
This position provides technical and functional application support, solutions and testing for several company-wide applications as well as acting as a liaison between users, developers, and IT Support group to correct issues and implement enhancements. The ideal candidate will have outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop in-depth business knowledge of the company’s processes and interaction with systems
- Function as a Salesforce subject matter expert
- Work as a member of cross functional team to help design solutions
- Work closely with end-users to gather requirements for system enhancements and translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Troubleshoot and investigate application problems
- Configure application security including users, roles, profiles, and other permission controls
- Maintain security documents relating to SOX compliance
- Perform quality assurance testing on improvements and enhancements
- Develop and execute test scripts, test procedures and test scenarios
- Analyze test results for validity and clarity
- Assist in project management including plan development, estimates, feasibility, coordinating and executing system projects, maintaining task lists, status updates, etc.
- Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
- Provide references for users by writing and maintaining documentation
- Coordinate test environment data refreshes
- Support disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Coordinate migrations and upgrades
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience working as an Salesforce Analyst or consultant in a similar or related capacity
- Application testing experience
- Experience debugging, troubleshooting and testing enterprise systems and reports
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and achieve quality results
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Proven analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to work across both technical and business lines at all levels of the organization
