Salary Range: $100k-$150K

At any given time, we have a number of client projects underway to implement, enhance and/or integrate our software. We have several sub-teams, each having responsibility for several active projects. We are seeking to add a new role within our organization that will have oversight over all active projects, while also for the first time, defining and implementing standardized processes, tools, and policies for managing them.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives, while working collaboratively with our sub-teams. This person will be a strong team player that will work with various constituents within the organization to build consensus and institute change. Ultimately, the program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

** Objectives of this role**

• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives, and draft related policies and procedures
• Implement tools, templates and processes that enhance project governance, monitoring and reporting of status communication and accountability, thus reducing project risks, and ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget
• Meaningfully impact such things as: project planning and resourcing; scope management; status monitoring and reporting; roles & responsibilities; risk and issue management; etc.
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
• Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

Responsibilities

• Work closely with client project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for projects
• Manage overall program and work collaboratively with the project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
• Train and educate internal project managers/business analysts on project management skills and techniques
• Work interdependently with Product Manager, Scrum Master, and sub-teams to ensure SDLC related deliverables are scheduled in advance, and executed across the various sprints

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; degree in information technology a plus
• 5+ years of experience in a project manager role, preferably in program management
• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
• Experience in managing stakeholders
• Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software, JIRA, Project Management tools
• PMP or related certification
