Lending or mortgage industry experience is not required but is a tremendous asset. Responsibilities: • Monitor sales pipeline, meet sales expectations, get referrals, and generate new business opportunities • Assemble financial information to assist with loan applications, prepare loan files, and assess applicants’ financial situation and eligibility • Create personal relationships with loan applicants - offer additional information and answer questions about home mortgage products • Collaborate with the mortgage lender or mortgage banker, underwriter, loan processor, senior MLO / mortgage loan originator, and realtors on behalf of the applicant as needed to make sure the loan transaction goes through successfully • Review options with senior loan officer/ MLO to make a recommendation of which home loan product to recommend based on the applicant’s financial status Qualifications: • Excellent sales, relationship, communications and MS Office skills are vital • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree is desired • Knowledge of guidelines for loan programs and various types of loans such as FHA, commercial loans, VA, etc is an asset, but not required • Previous experience in financial services, real estate, lending institutions, credit union, or related fields is valuable, but not required • Willing to complete training program to obtain NMLS/ MLO/ state license Compensation: 55,000 - 65,000
