Service Technician

Completing the installation of all windows and doors for handover to the homeowner. Installing screens on applicable windows and sliding glass doors, along with all relevant beauty and hole covers. Applying silicone to operable windows and doors for seamless functionality. Replacing any damaged components, such as sashes, fixed glass reglazing, balance rods, and applying touch-up paints as needed.

The Company: For over 40 years, our client has been a prominent door and window dealer in Florida, gaining widespread recognition. Situated in sunny and beautiful Sarasota and Bradenton, FL.

The Position: We are looking for a Service Technician to join our well-established company located at the Bradenton location.

Compensation Package:

• $17 to $23 Per Hour
• Medical, Dental Vision
• PTO – 11 Days First Year (88 Hours) Increases After 1 Year
• Performance Based Review Conducted Annually

Requirements:

• Self-Motivated, Detail Oriented And Well Organized, Delivering Products to Highest Standards to Builders And Homeowners
• Must Be Able to Work in Heat And Stand For Long Periods of Time
• Must Maintain a Clean Driving Record
• Must Have Window And Door Experience a Plus

Responsibilities:

• M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Load Job Specific Products For Assigned Daily Service Schedule
• Unload Unused Products/Parts End of Day
• Identify Missing Parts Needed to Complete Scheduled Service
• Communicate With Assigned CSR
• Maintain a Safe Working Environment
• Maintain Stock Parts to Assigned Vehicle
• Ensure Assigned Vehicle is Organized And Clean
• Team Player And Able to Communicate And Interact Well With Homeowners, Colleagues, Builders, And Warranty Representatives
• Use Company Assigned 2-Way Radio
• Check Builder Portals Daily
• Report to Manager End of Day
• Positive and Professional Attitude
