Director of Nursing (DON)

Our client is looking for a Director of Nursing in Fort Smith, AR. They are responsible for the organization, development, management, and administration of day-to-day nursing activities in the skilled nursing facility. The DON will help implement rules and expectations for the staff.

• $100,000 to $110,000 Depending on Experience
• 2 Weeks PTO

Responsibilities:

• Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
• With Shared 24/7 Accountability
• Ensuring Compliance With Regulations for Documentation From Physicians and Nursing Personal
• Adjusts Staff as Needed
• Assists With Care Planning Process
• Develop/ Implement Quality Assurance and Risk Management Programs
• Make Rounds Daily to Direct Work Flow and Insure Consistency
• Assisting The Medical Staff With In-House Procedures
• Assist With Continuous Quality Improvement and Corrective Follow-Up Actions

Requirements:

• Valid RN (Registered Nurse ) License
• 2 Years Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• 3 Years Experience in LTC/SNF Preferred
• Nursing Leadership Experience
• Clinical Knowledge of SNF
• Computer Skills
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skill
