Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications used throughout the facility. The pharmacist is expected to sustain an environment for the safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups
• Expected job responsibilities include performing admission and discharge medication reconciliation on high-risk and Medicare/Medicaid patients, ensure follow-up care is addressed and appropriate referrals and services are arranged, and deliver medication-related education to patients and caregivers on high-risk and high-cost medications
• Responsible for the direct supervision of technical support personnel

Requirements:

• 2 years of Relevant Experience
• Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy
• Experience in Oncology Required
• PGY1 Residency Preferred
• Currently Licensed in the State of Florida as a Pharmacist or Willingness to Obtain Prior to Relocating.
• Schedule Varies Based on Location -Inpatient/Outpatient etc. (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available)
