    Our client is in beautiful Fort Myers, FL, and looking for qualified professionals to join their team! They are a well-established non-profit that brings much-needed services to the community.

    The Position: Our client is looking for an Intake Clinician to join their established team in the Fort Myers area. They are offering the following compensation and benefits:

    • $16.50/hr-$21.47/hr (Bachelors) 41k-56k Salary (Masters) Based On Experience
    • $1,000 Sign On Bonus
    • Hourly Intensive Differential

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental/Behavioral Health related degree etc.
    • 1 Year Experience Working with Substance Abuse or Co-Occurring Disorders
    • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems- Required
    • Ability to Learn Electronic Health Records (EHR)
    • Excellent Computer Skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Effectively performs the following tasks in a thorough and accurate manner: screenings; intakes and assessments; group and individual therapy; family counseling; treatment and planning revision; crisis counseling, and education modules.
    • Efficiently and accurately completes case reviews, evaluation, case management, and review and audit of charts.
    • Attains and maintains a working knowledge of 12 core functions of addiction and 12-Steps Programs.
    • Routinely displays basic knowledge of symptoms of mental health issues.
    • Appropriate use of ASAM and DSM-V.
    • Consistently strives to improve patient care and record keeping and to respond positively to peer and supervisory feedback to improve service delivery.
    • Effectively thinks and functions in a crisis situation with minimal supervision.
    • Reports to supervisor any problems in program effectiveness.
    • Appropriate use of time management to ensure time is used efficiently and patient care is provided in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Appropriately handles difficult situations with co-workers and patients. Works with other staff to ensure patient needs are met.
