    Accounting Coordinator

    We are a nonprofit organization with over 48 years of experience providing behavioral health treatment services to the greater Tampa Bay area.     The Position: We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator and offer the following compensation package:

    • $40,000 to $45,000 (Based on Experience)
    • 403(b) Retirement Package with Company Match
    • Medical, Dental, and Vision (Eligibility 1st of the month after 60 Days)

    Requirements:

    • Full-Time Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
    • At least 2 Years of Experience Required
    • Minimum High School Related Education – Associates or Bachelors Preferred
    • Healthcare, Non-Profit or Behavioral Health Experience a Plus

    Responsibilities:

    The Accounting Coordinator is highly skilled, detail-oriented and excels at multitasking. The accounting coordinator will process grant revenue, record revenue and expense transactions, assist in preparing financial reports, audits, and resolving discrepancies. Need to be analytical, collaborative, and trustworthy. Should be ethical, thorough, and attentive with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report financial data.
    • Process grants revenues and works closely with various funding agencies to ensure timely processing of invoices, reports, and other reporting requirements.
    • Become expert on agency’s grant contracts and maximize invoicing of services on all grants.
    • Gather required supporting documentation and processing journal entries.
    • Generate miscellaneous invoices for copy charges and drug screens.
    • Preparing weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports and budgets
