    Nurse Practitioner \- Infectious Disease - HIV

    We are seeking a HIV Nurse Practitioner for a full-time and 100% outpatient-focused opportunity in Harrisburg, PA! Our organization is focused on helping individuals live longer, feel more energized, and maintain independence for as long as possible.

    The Nurse Practitioner is a healthcare provider who operates independently in a variety of settings, combining advanced nursing skills with clinical, diagnostic, and treatment skills, making professionally autonomous decisions for which he/she is accountable, under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer. The incumbent provides primary healthcare alongside services provided by Practitioners, acting as an advocate to directly increase the availability and accessibility of healthcare for patients across the age spectrum dependent on areas of identified need.


    Compensation Package:

    • $115,000 to $145,000 ++ Base Salary (Based Experience)

    Requirements:

    • Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM (if you finish early you can go home)
    • No On Call
    • 1 Weekend (8 AM to 12 PM) Every 8 Months
    • One Late Evening (Until 8 PM) Every 6 Weeks
    • Board Certified in Family Practice 
    • Current and Active Pennsylvania NP License
    • Minimum Masters Degree in Nursing
    • Must have at least 3 years of experience
    • Must have experience with HIV and STD
    • Seeing 12 to 15 Patients Per Day Patients Per Day
    • Passion for Working with Those In the Local Community

    Responsibilities:

    • Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care
    • Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows for consultation, collaboration, or referral
    • Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues.
    • Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
    • Maintains legible, accurate, and confidential medical records. Documents all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations consistent with regulatory standards.
    • Facilitates evaluation of records by physician(s), peers, maintaining quality standards according to protocols, and receives and implements constructive directives
