Emergency Room – Registered Nurse

Our client is a stable community hospital in Chicago. We are dedicated to excellence in patient care, serving our community, and committed to the continued learning of our employees. We are actively hiring a full-time Emergency Room Nurse to join our expanding hospital nursing team. The role involves triage management, performing phlebotomy, conducting point-of-care testing, and handling associated administrative duties. The ER nurse will collaborate with physicians on discharge planning and provide outpatient instructions for non-admitted patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency room setting.
• Assess and triage patients based on the severity of their condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and manage patients with acute and critical conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.

Requirements:

• Must Have At Least 1 Year of Experience as a Registered Nurse
• Emergency Room Experience Required
• Must Have Current Illinois RN License and BLS Required
• BSN Preferred
