Our organization offers a complete menu of care and services delivered by a team of highly trained, compassionate professionals. Our entire team of skilled providers is sensitive to both physical and emotional needs of the patient.

    We are seeking a qualified and available Social Worker (LSW) to join our growing and successful team.

    For the Social Worker we offer the following compensation package:

    • $90,000-$100,000 + Annual Salary (Depending on Experience)
    • Mileage Reimbursement - $0.43 per Mile
    • Health, Dental, and Vision insurances - Offered After 90 of Employment
    • 19 Days of PTO - Accrued Starts 1st Day of Employment - Available for Use at 90 days
    • Paid Federal Holidays - 6 Days

    Responsibilities:

    • Monday through Friday – 8:30AM to 5PM 
    • Covering Burlington, Camden, and Cumberland Counties
    • Assesses emotional factors related to terminal illness.
    • Assesses environmental resources and obstacles to maintain safety
    • Provides emotional support, short-term crisis intervention and individual and/or family counseling when indicated
    • Maintains contact with appropriate community agencies and services to promote interagency cooperation and to facilitate related referrals
    • Evaluates patient/family response to psychosocial interventions

    Requirements:

    • Licensed Social Worker LSW Certification in New Jersey
    • 1 + Years of Experience as a Medical Social Worker, Hospice Experience Preferred
    • Masters Degree in Social Work
    • Understanding of hospice philosophy related to families in crisis and end of life issues
    • Strong Interpersonal, Oral, and Written Communication Skills
    • Demonstrated excellence in management of human resources, financial resource, communication, and organizational skills
    • Demonstrated experience and ability in healthcare program administration including knowledge of reimbursement practices and health care policies
