Controller
Our client was founded in 1957. They are a financially stable not-for-profit community mental health center. Our client currently has 23 sites that cover five counties including Anderson Campbell, Morgan, Roane, and Scott Counties.

The Position: Our client is looking for a Controller in Oakridge, TN to add to their rapidly growing organization that is eager and excited about the industry. The primary responsibilities are to manage the day-to-day financial activities of the organization and to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Our client is offering the following compensation and benefits:
- Up to $105,000 Based on Experience
- Health Insurance – 68% of Premium Covered (Effective 1st of The Month After 30 days)
- Vacation Time- Eligible After 90 Days (Accumulate 10 Hours Each Month)
- Basic Life/Accidental Death Insurance – Coverage is 150% of Annual Salary
- Sick Leave - Immediate Eligibility (Accrue 5.33 Hours Each Month)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with an accounting concentration
- Master's Degree in a related are or active CPA license preferred
- 5 or more years of leadership and financial analysis or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Management of general finance functions, including monthly financial reporting and all associated analysis.
- Supervision of the accounting and patient billing departments.
- Oversight and management of the revenue cycle.
- Provide direction and leadership in the coordination and preparation of the annual budget.
- Tracks and reports budget variances monthly. Makes recommendations regarding budget variances.
- Coordination with the Quality Control and Compliance Team to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations governing not-for-profit organizations and healthcare billing.
- Support the CFO and senior management to build, develop and execute financial and accounting strategies/processes and systems to effectively meet and support objectives.
- Coordination of annual audit and preparation of various tax filings with outside auditors and accounting firms.
- Monitoring of accounting policies and procedures and consultation with senior management regarding recommended improvements.
- Attends committee, and management meetings, as appropriate.
