Bookkeeper

The Position: We are looking for a bookkeeper that will be able to perform general bookkeeping duties, including maintaining financial records, processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.

• Hourly Pay Rate is $22 to $30 Per Hour Depending on Experience
• 6 Federal Holidays Paid
• 1 Week PTO First Year

• Health Insurance (50%Paid by Company)

Requirements:

• Monday – Friday 8AM - 5PM With 1 Hour Unpaid Lunch
• Proven Experience as a Bookkeeper or Similar Role
• Strong Knowledge of Accounting Principles Including GAAP(Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Proficient in Quick Books Online And MS Office Applications
• Attention to Detail and Data Entry
• Strong Analytical Skills to Detect Discrepancies And Errors
• Must Be Able to Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines
• Excellent Written And Verbal Skills
• Critical Thinking And Problem Solving
• Knowledge of Payroll Processing And Payroll Laws
• Experience in Public Accounting or Technical Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Prepare And Process Payroll, Ensuring Accurate And Timely Payment to Employees
• Reconcile Balance Sheets And Bank Statements to Ensure Accuracy
• Prepare Financial Reports- Profit And Loss, Cash Flow Statements
• Help Prepare Budgets And Forecasts
• Collaborate With Other Departments to Ensure Compliance
• Maintain Confidentiality of Financial Documents and Information
