Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

Job Responsibilities

• Day and Night Shift Available
• 3 12-Hour Shifts: 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am
• Every Other Weekend
• The registered professional nurse is responsible for identifying the patient's alterations in health, assessing the patient's human response to actual and potential health problems, implementing nursing
• Evaluates signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Understands community resources and outpatient programs for mental health and substance use disorders
• Monitors and reports patient’s symptoms, changes in status and diagnostic test results
• Administers treatments and medications

Requirements:

• Must Have At Least 1 Year of Experience as a Registered Nurse
• Substance Abuse/Behavioral/Mental Health Experience Preferred
• Must Have Current Illinois RN License and BLS Required
• BSN Preferred
• Experience With Meditech EMR Preferred
