    The Position: As a Manager in the Business Solutions Group, you oversee client accounts - which includes being responsible for client communications and ensuring that the engagements are executed by team members in accordance with its scope. Additionally, Managers are responsible for delegating duties to Senior Accountants, Staff, and Interns, reviewing their work and providing them with the necessary supervision and training. Managers also perform business development functions and are involved with prospective client proposals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Either oversee or perform essential duties on client accounts where necessary (includes maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and reviewing payroll).
    • Ensures that month end/period end and reporting packages are prepared and finalized within required timelines, under either an accruals or cash basis as needed.
    • Proactively trains and develops team members, as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum of ten years’ experience in the accounting field. Strong project manager (industry finance position or a business management function preferred) with proven ability to lead a team.
    • Proven and thorough understanding of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and possess a sufficient working knowledge of taxation matters.
    • Analytical thinker, who can identify (both technical and non-technical) issues and resolve them with little oversight.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of and/or experience with additional accounting software programs which can include, but not limited to; Zero, Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com or Concur.
    • Bi-lingual in Spanish or second language an advantage.
    • Holds a current and valid CPA’s license, or equivalent.
