    Job Responsibilities

    • Under supervision, you will be responsible for the diagnostic testing and direct care of patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
    • Acts as outside attendant and control operator during clinical treatment using monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
    • Responsible and accountable for planning, directing, and provision of treatments in accordance with physician's orders and recognized policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for following manufacturer's recommendations and industry standards in the general upkeep of the hyperbaric chambers, including safety checks, cleaning, and ensuring the required preventive maintenance is completed in a timely manner.
    • Completion of education and safety sheet with patient and significant other, reviewing indications, risks, and benefits or treatment
    • Maintain continual monitoring of patients during treatment to ensure proper oxygen delivery and monitor symptoms of oxygen intolerance, hypoglycemia, decompression sickness, or gas embolism

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
    • Must Have At Least 1 Year of Experience as a Hyperbaric Technician
    • Previous Experience in Wound Care Center or Hospital Preferred
    • Must Have Active Hyperbaric Certification
    • BLS or ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience With Meditech EMR Preferred
