Certified Public Accountant - CPA
The Company: Our Client is a stable CPA firm. They've been in business for over 20 years.
The Position:
- $56,000-$100,000 Salary Based on Experience
- Paid Time Off
- 401K - Company Contributes 3%
- Mon-Friday 8-Hour Shift
Job Duties
- Preparation of complex and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals and businesses.
- Oversee technical accuracy of work performed
- Participate in Tax Planning and Tax Strategy meetings and development
- Oversee and review of Tax Return and Trial Balance tie-down needed for tax filings
- Manage client deliverables and internal staff
- Preparation and review of internal memorandum, written correspondence/guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or Treasury Department.
- Research various tax matters
- Collaborate with clients and internal CPAs
Qualifications:
- Experience preparing tax returns, individual, partnership, and corporate.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and staff
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in Thomson Reuters products is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Data analytic skills a plus
- Detail-oriented & ability to multi-task.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting.
- CPA Certification is a plus.
- 4+ years of recent experience in public accounting tax environment.
