The Position: Our Client is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner they are offering the following benefits:

Requirements:

• Board Certified PMHNP
• Active Florida license
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Computer competency is required
• Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
• Show initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality healthcare

Responsibilities:

• Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM or Monday-Thursday 8AM - 6PM

• Providing coverage for various programs.
• Working with both adults and children.
• Providing care for those with Mental Health and/or substance use disorders.
• Cross-training to complete psychiatric evaluations and/or medication management
• Handling physical examinations for various programs
• Completing medication management appointments for Clients under Baker Acts
• Taking guidance from Client Psychiatrists and participating as part of a multi-disciplinary team
