We have recently engaged with a very progressive, well run and financially stable Hospice organization in the greater Atlanta area. They are a family owned organization that is committed to patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and quality care for each member of the family.

Our client is offering the following benefits:

• Annual Salary: $53,000-$61,000
• Health Insurance-Employer pays up to 72% of premium
• Dental and Vision Insurance
• Mileage Reimbursement-$0.50 per mile
• PTO-80 hours in your first year
• Paid Holidays-6 Federal, 2 Floating Holidays
• Retirement Package: 401(k) with 3% match
• Supplemental Coverage-Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability, etc.
• On-Call-$25/hr on standby, $45 for an on-call visit (1 in 6 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• The Medical Social Worker assesses emotional factors related to terminal illness.
• The MSW counsels patients and families and caregivers regarding issues of death, dying, and anticipatory grief.
• The MSW provides financial and community resource referrals.
• Patients Per Day-4 on average

Requirements:

• Masters Degree of Social Work or Bachelors Degree supervised by an LCSW
• 1 year of Home Health, Hospice or Palliative Care Experience-Preferred
• Familiarity with EMR system KanTime-Preferred
