  • Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, problem-solving and operational skills, but able to do data entry and data collection. The position has a diverse set of responsibilities which include the collection and input of data, and maintenance of performance dashboards that provide insights to the company’s operational efficiency. This is a position which requires someone who has an education and/or a background in business management, operations, and data analyses. This position reports to the plant manager but supports multiple managers within the organization.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and maintain reporting dashboards
    • Maintain manufacturing production data collection processes, both manual and auto generated-specifically owns shop floor data, scrap analysis, and providing daily, and periodic reports to staff
    • Automate/improve complicated or repetitive tasks
    • Analyze business problems identified by management and recommend solutions
    • Perform data analyses to provide insights to company’s profitability and operational efficiency
    • Gather data from production programs, ERP, and other databases to support operations
    • Support the budget and forecasting process by providing data as needed
    • Works closely with departmental supervisors and managers to support day-to-day operations
    • Support data gathering requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts
    • Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities
    • Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management and suggest problem resolution and business process improvements
    • Support cycle counting and other inventory processes as needed
    • Support attendance tracking under supervision of the operations manager
    • Other ad-hoc reporting or analysis as needed
    • Ensure alignment with company's mission, strategic objectives, and core values

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate’s Degree in information systems, business, accounting, or similar area of studies
    • 2+ years related professional experience
    • Ability to analyze data and processes with interpretation of gathered information from a variety of data sources
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to partner closely with colleagues for gathering relevant data
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems
    • Problem-solving approach to process data and provide creative solution options for a wide variety of problems
    • Excellent writing skills to produce professional level presentations and reports on findings
    • ERP experience to be able to support data gathering and analysis
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced, team orientated environment
    • Professionalism in a casual work environment
