    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a Marketing and Communications Manager, you will drive increased Irby Utility and Technology and Communications exposure through multiple digital media platforms. You will elevate creative visual storytelling, writing, editing, account management, research, and technical/analytics skills in this fast-paced role.  From creating monthly editorial calendars to using marketing strategies to deliver our brand's message in creative ways, the Marketing and Communications Manager is our link between our business to our current and future customers. More than just attracting new customers, the Marketing and Communications Manager analyzes data to determine which initiatives work best and capitalizes on this information.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
    • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels.
    • Work with brand to create and implement social media strategies monthly.
    • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience.
    • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn.
    • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others.
    • Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives Managing administration, communicating, and coordinating with internal departments.
    • Produce rough cuts, graphic design & integration, color correction and deliver final projects.
    • Produce various types of promos and underwriting messages.
    • Participate in programming discussions with staff, concept development and storyboarding.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's products and/or services.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and assist in other duties as assigned.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, CRM software, and Media applications such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and HTML Editors.
    • Thorough understanding of email marketing, social media, PPC, SEO, Google Analytics and website updates using a CRM system.
    • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.
    • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent, with additional educational experience a plus.
    • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 7-10 years of experience in telecommunications industry, including knowledge of telecom industry/operations, technology, and equipment.
    • Ad agency and brand management experience.
