This position is commission-based, with the rate depending on experience. We offer FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING, even during tax season. Family events are important to us. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME SEASONAL EXPERIENCED TAX PREPARER
As a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer, you consistently represent our core values and standards of service. The good relationships that you build with our clientele, keep them coming back year after year. You consult with clients during tax season and prepare individual or business tax returns for them. With attention to detail, you review and analyze data.
You perform data entry with outstanding accuracy. But it's not all just numbers. As you consult with clients on tax implications, your passion for helping people is obvious. You enjoy working for an accounting firm that is continuously growing and feel good about providing an essential service for our appreciative clients!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME SEASONAL EXPERIENCED TAX PREPARER
Experience using Drake tax software and QuickBooks Online bookkeeping software would be a plus but is not necessary. Experience with 1120-S, 1065, 1120, and 1041 tax returns would also be a plus. Are you personable and ethical? Do you have the capacity to learn new things quickly? Are you professional and able to convey confidence? Do you have a positive attitude? Are you results-oriented? PART-TIME WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time tax preparation position works a flexible schedule of at least 12 hours per week during the tax season. You pick the days of the week. Consistency on a weekly or bi-weekly basis is a must. Continuing education seminars and credits are available during the fall and winter. REMOTE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AFTER ONE TAX SEASON WITH US.
COVID CONSIDERATIONS
To keep our accounting team members safe during these times, we have installed sneeze guards and have masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer available for team members and clients. We have also increased cleaning schedules and have cleaning products at all workstations.
