    Job Description

    Intelligence Analyst, collects, analyzes, and interprets information to understand trends and patterns, providing insights to inform decision-making. They may work in various sectors like government, law enforcement, or private businesses. Typical duties include data gathering from diverse sources, using analytical tools, and communicating findings through reports and briefings.

    • Complete the customer-provided Intelligence Oversight training as required by customer requirements and will report any Questionable Intelligence Activity (QIA), Significant/Highly Sensitive Matter (S/HSM), and/or Federal Crimes IAW procedures established in DoD Directive 5148.13, Intelligence Oversight, and AFI 14-104, Intelligence Oversight.
    • Adhere to the following guidance when involving cryptographic matters in addition to DoDD and AFI reference, USSID 18, Legal Compliance and US Persons Minimization Procedures.
    • Receive, analyze, report, and disseminate critical information as required by 492nd Wing users.
    • Provide intelligence training to aircrews, conduct debriefings of military personnel involved in combat operations, provide intelligence support and planning for exercises and training.
    • Provide intelligence analysis support to 492nd Wing users with a focus on collection, analysis, evaluation of intel to determine accuracy for dissemination JAW wing procedures.
    • Create and manage databases regarding enemy forces, equipment, locations, and capabilities in support of 492 users.
    • Provide the 492nd/A2 Staff and units' situational awareness and briefs, related to Global Mission Requirements. Information sets include: Great Power Competition, Violent Extremist Networks, and Counter Terrorism.
    • Maintain expert knowledge and situational awareness to keep leadership informed.
    • Incorporate Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Human Geography/Socio-cultural (Human Domain), and Publicly Available Information (PAI) knowledge in the development of the Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE) by leveraging requirements, methodologies, tradecraft and activities within the Intelligence Community (IC) ISO AFSOC.
    • Maintain geospatial databases, imagery, and other intel products.
    • Prepare and present intel briefings and reports to the 492 SOW/CC and other designated staff members on SOF operations as well as events influencing wing units.
    • Provide back-up support to Security Management and Special Security Requirements and support all 492 SOW/A2 Security Management and SSO tasks.
    • Execute HHQ policy and assigned tasks regarding Intelligence Community Personnel Security.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10 years demonstrated performance within the last 12 years on matters related to:

    -Intelligence analysis and production

    -Demonstrated experience as an All-Source Analyst.

    -Incorporating HUMINT, IMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT activities data into the development of IPOE and Commander Update Briefings

    • Requires TS/SCI Clearance (Top Secret/SCI level )
    • Note: Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience in intelligence analysis and production may be substituted for 10 years of experience if completed within the last 12 years.

    Additional Information

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
    • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
