    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Senior IT Sales Representative to join our team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in IT sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the local market in San Diego.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the San Diego area through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness in the local market.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our IT solutions.
    • Work closely with the technical team to understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
    • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and closing deals to meet sales targets.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management to track progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in IT sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong knowledge of IT products and services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and software solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels.
    • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools for tracking leads, managing accounts, and forecasting sales performance.
    • Local market knowledge and an existing network of contacts in the San Diego area are preferred.
