    Job Description

    Purpose:

    Intelerad is looking to add a member to their SRE Networking team. The SRE Network team is a subteam within SRE whose primary focus is to help design and support the complex network infrastructure systems within a multi-datacenter environment.  As part of the SRE Networking team you will be expected to assist in designing, implementing, and supporting new and existing infrastructure in an enterprise environment with strict uptime requirements.

    ⦁  Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Intelerad Competencies and Information Protection  requirements

    ⦁  Provide input to strategic decisions to ensure our infrastructure fits within our vision

    ⦁  Participate in cross divisional enterprise infrastructure projects

    ⦁  Assist in schematically depicting network architectures and topologies both physically and logically

    ⦁  Assist the security team to respond to, prevent, detect and investigate suspicious activity in a timely   manner

    ⦁  Possess and display basic proficiency in the following areas: critical thinking, troubleshooting, vendor  management, customer service, project management, verbal and written communication

    ⦁  Assist Network Team lead on network design and maintenance of the network infrastructure

    ⦁  Assist in documentation of network best practices and processes

    ⦁  Willingness to learn new technologies and work closely with teammates to grow skillsets

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ⦁ Minimum 3 years of technical engineering experience required. 4+ years preferred

    ⦁ Minimum 3 years of Network Administration experience required. 4+ years preferred

    ⦁ Comfortable interacting with devices via CLI

    ⦁ Basic understanding of Enterprise Network Designs

    ⦁ Basic understanding of protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and IPsec VPNs

    ⦁ Experience implementing and administering enterprise network monitoring tools

    ⦁ Experience administering enterprise grade network equipment. Cisco and Fortigate experience preferred

    ⦁ Ability to quickly locate and troubleshoot network issues using tools like nmap or wireshark

    ⦁ Basic understanding of popular scripting languages such as bash, powershell, and python preferred

    ⦁ Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary and occasional travel

    ⦁ Ability to lift 50 pounds, with bending and mobility to move large objects

    ⦁ Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response
