    Job Description

    The ServiceNow Specialist / IT Service Management Developer is responsible for supporting the use of our client facing ticketing system, ServiceNow.  Over time this role may also extend to helping integrate more tightly our internal ticketing system, Atlassian’s JIRA product.  As a key member of the agile development team responsible for the design, testing and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform, the IT Service Management Developer will analyze business requirements, and design, implement and test solutions in ServiceNow with long-term possibilities to extend this practice to our JIRA infrastructure as well.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications

    • Participate in problem-solving after ServiceNow testing or production

    • Work directly with end users to resolve issues in ServiceNow Participate in deploying ServiceNow patches/updates and new versions of the platform

    • Develop and implement solutions for ServiceNow and/or JIRA: solution design, implementation, testing, user acceptance testing, validation

    • Create and configure workflows based on the business requirements and best practices

    • Create business rules, UI policies, UI pages, UI macros, UI actions, Scripts, etc.

    • Perform integration between ServiceNow and other Intelerad business systems

    • Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems

    • Participate in the development and delivery of training for end-users

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

    • 3+ years of experience in a development role for business software (e.g. ERP, CRM, HRM, ITSM, etc.)

    • Experience with ServiceNow or Atlassian JIRA, as well as JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML & CSS Web services (SOAP, REST) and Service management processes (ITIL related) is a plus

    • Strong technical aptitude and a quick learner with the ability to understand medical imaging

    • Experience with Agile development processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)

    • Technical knowledge with workflow tools and corporate communication tools such as Google Apps, Slack

    • Excellent analytical, research, organizational and planning skills

    • Excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships

    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams

    • Exceptional communication, influencing and presentation skills
